Cognitive Leap (parent company of Cogleap) Selected by Seven. One Entertainment Group for Documentary on ADHD and Science-Based Alternatives to Medication
Cognitive Leap (parent company of Cogleap) has been selected by Germany-based Seven. One Entertainment Group for a one-hour documentary examining ADHD and science-based, non-pharmacological approaches to helping children with attention challenges.

Seven. One Entertainment Group is a major European media organization whose portfolio includes leading television and digital brands such as ProSieben, SAT.1, Kabel Eins and Joyn, reaching global audiences through television, streaming platforms, digital media and social media channels.
For the documentary, the production team spent a full day following the experience of a child who had participated in Cogleap’s HFS® training program. The crew filmed at the family’s home and interviewed the child’s parents about the changes they observed before and after HFS training.

The production team also visited Cogleap Center, where they filmed the child completing the company’s vCAT® virtual-reality attention assessment and participating in an HFS® training session.

The documentary also brought together prominent supporters of Cognitive Leap’s work. Dr. Lawrence Fung, Founding Director of the Stanford Center for Neurodiversity and Human Potential, made a special trip to participate in the filming and discussed the importance of supporting neurodivergent children and families, while expressing his support for the work Cognitive Leap has undertaken in the ADHD community.

David Dreier, former Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Rules, businessman and philanthropist, also drove approximately two hours to participate in the documentary and show his support for Cognitive Leap and its mission.

The selection by Seven. One represents an important recognition of Cognitive Leap’s work. Among the many organizations worldwide developing services and interventions for children with ADHD, the production team chose Cognitive Leap and a family using its programs as part of its in-depth examination of emerging science-based approaches beyond medication.
“We are honored that Seven. One chose to examine our work and, most importantly, to tell the story through the experience of a child and his family,” said Jack Chen, Founder and CEO of Cognitive Leap. “We are also deeply grateful to Dr. Lawrence Fung and David Dreier for taking the time to participate and lend their support. Their involvement reflects a shared belief that children with ADHD and their families deserve access to innovative, science-driven options and greater understanding from society.”
“For more than a decade, our mission has been to translate advances in neuroscience into practical and scalable solutions that can help children better understand and strengthen their attention, self-regulation and ability to learn,” Chen added.

The documentary is expected to introduce a broad global audience to evolving approaches to ADHD assessment and intervention while exploring the growing interest among families in evidence-based, non-pharmacological options.
