A Harvard College and Tulane Medical School graduate, Dr. Hallowell is board-certified in child and adult psychiatry and was a Harvard Medical School faculty member for over 20 years. He founded the Hallowell ADHD Centers nationwide and advocates for a “strength-based approach to neurodiversity.”

 

As a New York Times bestselling author of Driven to Distraction, he has appeared on major shows like Oprah, CNN, and Good Morning America, and received the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ Leader of Mental Health Awareness Award.

Albert "Skip" Rizzo, Ph.D.

Chief Science Officer

Skip is a pioneering psychologist and neuropsychologist, widely recognized for his expertise in applying technologies to therapeutic interventions. He serves as the Director of Medical VR at the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies, bringing over 20 years of experience in designing technology solutions to support clinical care for conditions such as ADHD, PTSD, brain injury, and autism.

Skip is also a prolific researcher, contributing to over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles. His innovative work has garnered prestigious accolades, including the American Psychological Association Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Practice of Trauma Psychology in 2010 and the Satava Award in 2012, celebrating his excellence in using technologies in therapeutic applications.

Walter Greenleaf is a leading expert in digital medicine with over 30 years of experience developing clinical systems for physical and cognitive medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in Neuro and Bio-Behavioral Sciences from Stanford University, where he was awarded a National Institute of Mental Health Graduate Fellowship.

 

In addition, Walter is a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Stanford’s mediaX and the Director of the National Mental Health Innovation Center at the University of Colorado. He seamlessly balances academic and business roles, engaging in lecturing, publishing, and medical product development.

Director of Research and Development

Crystal leads in the product R&D and oversees global partnerships and clinical applications. She specializes in Attention, Working Memory, Sleep, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and AI applications of MRI and EEG.

After earning her PhD from University College London, she completed a fellowship at Berkeley’s Sleep and Neuroimaging Lab and co-founded Araya Brain Imaging with Ryota Kanai. She also served as a post-doctoral fellow at UCL’s Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Lab.

Hui Qi Tong, Ph.D.

Co-Founder, Clinical Advisor

Hui Qi is our clinical advisor with extensive experience in clinical research and mindfulness-based interventions. She is a clinical professor at Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and Director of the Mindfulness Program at the Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine. Previously, she was a research fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital, a clinical fellow in trauma at UCSF and the San Francisco VA Health Care System, and an academic visitor at the Oxford Mindfulness Center. Hui Qi is a certified MBSR trainer and supervisor, and a trainer for WHO’s Problem Management Plus (PM+) in China. She serves on various international boards, including AccessMBCT and the National Psychological Recovery Alliance.

Jack is one of the leading experts in cross-border investment between the United States and Asia and an experienced entrepreneur. He founded Cognitive Leap Solutions, Inc. in 2015 and its subsidiary, Cogleap Center for Achievement, Inc., in 2022. Before that, as the founder and CEO of Transworld Capital Group, he completed some of the largest investment and merger transactions between the United States and Asia. One of these transactions was hailed by The Wall Street Journal as "one of the landmark deals of this era" and was used as a case study by a think tank founded by former U.S. Treasury Secretary and former Goldman Sachs CEO Henry Paulson, for use in leading business schools across the U.S. His transactions generated billions of dollars in documented returns for investors.

Jack has served as a board member of the Asia Society Southern California, the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine Foundation, the Chinese CEO Organization, and the Committee 2005. He has also been appointed as a mentor for the Master of Applied Psychology program at Fudan University.
