Communication in everyday situations
Making choices and solving simple daily problems

Skills That Grow With Your Child
Life skills change as children grow.
Younger children may begin with skills such as dressing, tying shoes, eating independently, personal hygiene, cleaning up, and following simple daily routines.
Older children and teens may work on more advanced skills such as meal preparation, shopping, organizing their time and belongings, managing simple responsibilities, and participating more independently in the community.
How We Teach
Children learn through hands-on practice and real-life experiences. Our trainers use demonstration, step-by-step guidance, repetition, and practice in everyday situations.
Training begins with what the child can currently do and gradually builds toward greater confidence and independence.

Who Can Benefit?
Life Skills Training may be helpful for children and teens who need additional support with daily routines, self-care, organization, practical responsibilities, or using everyday skills more independently at home and in the community.
This may include children who have difficulty with tasks such as dressing, tying shoes, personal hygiene, following routines, organizing belongings, completing simple responsibilities, or managing age-appropriate daily activities.
